Somerset schools closed due to bad weather

A NUMBER of schools in Somerset have closed today as bad weather continues.

A weather warning is in place for Somerset until 6pm, with the Met Office warning of heavy rain.

It comes after the county was battered by downpours overnight, causing flooding in many areas, as well as difficult driving conditions.

The A303 eastbound has also been closed after a crash.
