Acreman St Antiques has had a very successful March auction, with the antique furniture and jewellery doing particularly well. Stand-out sales include: lot 359, an antique 18ct diamond and sapphire brooch, hammer £3,800; lot 360, five-stone diamond and platinum ring, hammer £3,000; lot 362, an antique diamond, garnet and pearl brooch, hammer £3,200. The auction house is particularly pleased to report that a total of just under £3,500 of jewellery was sold on behalf of the new Breast Cancer Unit at Yeovil Hospital.
This month Acreman St Antiques has its specialist coin and banknote sale on 22 April, and is still accepting items for the general antiques and collectors sale on 29 April, as well as the upcoming textile, fashion and apparel auction being held on 21 May.
The knowledgeable staff at Acreman St Antiques are very happy to advise on any items you may be wishing to enter into auction, and can also make home visits and arrange house clearances where required.
If you would like to discuss entering items for any of our forthcoming sales, contact Gill Norman on 07908 333577 / 01935 508764, or email auction@acremanstreetantiques.co.uk.
