Get your bids in ahead of Dorset young farmers’ Auction of Promises

CAKES, attraction tickets and even a bag of logs are up for grabs at a silent auction this month.

The Dorset Federation of Young Farmers (YFC) has organised an Auction of Promises on Saturday, November 25, and is urging people to get their bids in before bidding ends on Monday (November 20).

Past and present chairs, presidents, leaders, members and more will gather for the event, at Charlton Down Village Hall, Dorchester, from 6.30pm for a 7pm start on the night.

However, beforehand, people are being invited to get their last minute bids in for a raft of lots in the silent auction, ranging from a family ticket to the Tank Museum, to a hamper from Barbers Cheesemakers, and hedge trimming services.
