ROAD resurfacing works are being carried out across Dorset in November.
Dorset Council‘s highways maintenance gangs are planning to hit the road – quite literally – throughout November as they continue a programme to repair road damage.
“They do this by resurfacing and, to allow this work to take place safely, the area of the road being worked on will be closed. Signed diversions will be in place,” a council spokesperson said.
“We will do our best to keep residents updated if our schedule of work changes. The roads will be open outside of the hours given.”
The planned works and road closure times for road resurfacing across the Dorset Council area are:
- B3091 from Kitt Hill to Coles Lane junction, Guys Marsh –
9am to 4pm daily, November 1-10 - Dorchester Road, near Frampton – 8pm to 6am nightly, November 2-8
- Muckleford Road, Hampton – 8pm to 6am nightly, November 8-17
- Dorchester Road, Manor Road roundabout to Weymouth Bay Avenue, Weymouth – 8pm to 6am nightly, November 13-16
- Rye Hill, Southbrook, Bere Regis – 8pm to 6am nightly, November 16-30
- New Road, Dudsbury Road junction to B3073 junction, Parley Cross – 8pm to 6am nightly, November 17-24
