A COUPLE accused of flooding Dorset streets with large quantities of illegal drugs have pleaded guilty to a string of serious offences.
Grant Putman, 33, and Brooke Marshall, 35, both of Old Manor Close, Wimborne, admitted drugs and money laundering offences when they appeared at Bournemouth Crown Court on Tuesday, February 3.
Both defendants pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine, ketamine and cannabis, as well as money laundering.
Putman also admitted possession with intent to supply heroin and possession of an offensive weapon.
The case was brought following an investigation by the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (SWROCU).
The pair were arrested at their home in August last year by SWROCU officers, with assistance from Dorset Police.
A search of the property uncovered a significant haul of drugs and criminal assets.
Officers seized approximately one-and-a-half kilos of cocaine, 400 grams of heroin, two kilos of cannabis, 500 grams of ketamine, LSD, cannabis gummies, hundreds of illegal disposable vapes, weapons and around £20,000 in cash.
DI Pete Walker of SWROCU said: “Both Putman and Marshall were supplying a vast array of drugs in significant quantities which would have undoubtedly made their way to the streets of Dorset.
“These drugs bring devastation to our communities – fuelling violent crime and anti-social behaviour as well as serious health risks.”
Putman and Marshall are due to return to Bournemouth Crown Court for sentencing on March 24.
