YMCA are delighted to have a new store in Blandford, and have been truly welcomed and supported by the community here. The official opening was held on Saturday 26 March at 10.30am, with the Deputy Mayor and Deputy Town Crier both in attendance.
The shop sells clothing, bric a brac, electrical, toys, homewares, books, entertainment and small furniture. It is currently staffed by a small team of volunteers but is in desperate need for help to sort and sell the generous donations it has received! The YMCA is the world’s oldest and largest youth charity, supporting young people in mind, body and spirit. Currently, it is also heavily committed to helping and working with people affected in the Ukraine.
