Four sixth formers at Sherborne’s Gryphon School are celebrating after receiving offers to study at some of the top universities in the world.

Lucy Jones has been offered a place to study Classics at Oxford, Josh Slocombe to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford, Bella Whitmore to study Law at Oxford and Katie Copp to study History and Russian at Cambridge.

Head of The Gryphon Sixth Form, Paul O’Donnell, said: “Having just sent off 131 university applications, we are delighted that our superb sixth formers are already receiving some fantastic offers from around the country for a range of subjects.”

“Four of our Year 13 students have been offered places at Oxford and Cambridge. To receive these offers at such prestigious universities is a testament to their hard work and ability. We look forward to receiving more fantastic offers for our students over the next few months”.
