A YEOVIL Town defender has turned down an England call-up to focus on club football.
Morgan Williams, who has featured in all 39 league matches this season, declined the England C spot offered by head coach Paul Fairclough.
The squad contains non-league players, and goes up against other semi-professional teams, U23 squads, and lower ranked or unrecognised opposition, such as Nepal, Jersey and Penjab.
Williams would have been one of only three players selected from divisions below the National League, with Wyll Stanway of Chester City and Ollie Pearce of Worthing also selected from the sixth tier.

The 24-year-old first joined the Glovers on loan from Coventry City in December 2019.
After another loan spell the following season, he made the permanent move in the summer of 2021.
After reaching 100 appearances for the club earlier this season, his contract was extended until 2026.
It comes at a difficult time for the Somerset side, which has failed to win in the past four matches.
Yeovil sit seven points clear at the top with a game in hand but will be hoping an available Williams can help get them over the line, and back into the fifth tier.
