Trailers and farm equipment stolen from site near Blandford

TWO trailers and other farming equipment were stolen from near Blandford.

The items were taken from a farm in Chettle some time between 11.40pm on Saturday (February 24) and 5.30am the following morning.

PC Chandler Organ, of Dorset Police’s Rural Crime Team, said: “I am appealing to anyone who has any information regarding the whereabouts of the stolen equipment to please get in touch.

“I would like to hear from anyone who saw the trailers being towed on the night of the incident travelling away from Chettle, possibly on the A354.

“As part of my appeal, I am issuing an image of one of the stolen trailers in the hope that someone will recognise it if the trailer is listed for sale or abandoned.

“I am pursuing a number of enquiries as part of the investigation and would ask anyone with information in relation to this theft to please contact Dorset Police.”
