Search is on for mystery Wiltshire lottery winner – with deadline looming

ONE lucky person in Wiltshire is a millionaire – and they are seemingly not aware.

The countdown is on for a mystery local lottery winner in Wiltshire who has just over a month left to claim an amazing EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker prize worth £1 million.

The missing ticket was bought in Wiltshire for the EuroMillions draw on December 27, 2024 and the winning UK Millionaire Maker code for this prize was XDQM 36414.

The lucky ticket holder now only has until June 25 to claim their prize.

Players are being urged to check and double-check their unique EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker code for the chance to become an instant millionaire.

For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions Millionaire Maker code printed on their ticket.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: “We are rapidly approaching the deadline to claim this amazing EuroMillions prize, but we’ve not yet been contacted by the rightful ticket-holder to claim their money, despite numerous appeals.

“There is still time though, with one month left for this ticket holder to get in touch.

“We’ve received valid claims on major National Lottery unclaimed prizes right up to the very last minute before – but time is marching on for this missing winner.

“All that we ask is for all EuroMillions players to take some time out of their day to have a search and check their tickets.

“That five minutes out of your day could end up making you a millionaire! It would have been very chilly at the time the ticket was bought, so check your coat pockets!

“Do you live or work in this area, do you have family and friends there who you were visiting over the Christmas period or were you just passing through?

“We are ready and waiting with the champagne on ice for that life-changing phone call to come in to us here at The National Lottery.

“Players can check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at national-lottery.co.uk.

“Players can also check tickets in retail. Playing online via the app or website means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize.

“You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you’re a winner.”

With all National Lottery draws, players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have the winning ticket.

If no one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
