Cars stolen from North Dorset farm

POLICE have released an image of Mitsubishi that was stolen from a farm in North Dorset over the weekend.

A Land Rover Defender 90, Mitsubishi L200, Ifor Williams 3SB triple axle livestock trailer and an Ifor Williams 2SB double axle livestock trailer were stolen from a farm in Stalbridge between 10pm on Saturday (November 8) and 7am on Sunday (November 9).

Officers managed to locate the Land Rover which was recovered in Odcombe in Somerset.

Dorset Police is still trying to locate the other vehicle and has issued an image in the hopes that someone may have some information about the theft.

PC Sebastian Haggett, of the Rural Crime Team, said: “This incident has resulted in a significant loss for the victim and we are doing all we can to find those responsible.

“I am appealing to anyone who was travelling in the area overnight on November 8 with a dashcam fitted to please check their footage for anything of relevance.

“I am issuing an image of the outstanding stolen vehicle and would urge anyone who has seen one matching the description to please come forward. The vehicle may be parked up in a quiet or residential road.

“Similarly, I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have information about the stolen trailers for sale in unusual circumstances.”
