POLICE arrested a Dorchester man after several suspected stolen items were found following a search.
Officers on foot patrol detailed a man for a search on South Street on November 7 after he was seen acting suspiciously around shops.
The search revealed the man was in possession of several suspected stolen items, which were seized. Officers also reportedly found an item which is used to de-tag security devices from retail products.

Officers said that following a check of the man’s details, he was also wanted for six previously reported shoplifting offences across Dorset.
The man was subsequently arrested and taken into custody. The force is continuing enquiries into the seized items.
