Date confirmed for rescheduled Blackmore Vale Half Marathon

THE Blackmore Vale Half Marathon (BVHM) has been rescheduled for this summer.

The event was originally set to run on February 2, but was called off due to the course being waterlogged.

Now, organisers the Blackmore Vale Lions Club (BVLC) have announced it will instead take place on Sunday, July 13, at Bishops Caundle Recreation Ground.

The major charity this year will be Diabetes UK.

“All previous entries have been carried forward and the race has been reopened for new entries,” a spokesperson said.
