Burglars steal cash and jewellery in Marnhull raid

JEWELLERY and cash were stolen from a property in Marnhull in the early hours of Sunday morning (January 28).

Police are appealing for information after the raid, which is believed to have happened at around 5am, when officers are keen to trace a car that was spotted in the area.

PC Ioanna Spence-Samoili, of Blandford police, said: “Our enquiries are continuing and I would like to hear from anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time.

“I would also appeal to residents and drivers within the areas of Marnhull as far south as Pleck to please review their dashcams and home security doorbells and cameras to see if they have captured anything during the early hours of the morning which may be of relevance to our investigation.”
