Dorchester fire prompts warning to close doors and windows

RESIDENTS are being advised to keep doors and windows closed as firefighters tackle a blaze in Dorchester.

Crews are dealing with a blaze near Queens Avenue, which a Dorchester Fire Station spokesperson said was “causing a fair amount of smoke in the area”.

“Please avoid the area and if you’re a local resident, you may want to consider keeping any windows and doors closed,” they added.
