A WOMAN was sexually assaulted in a Warminster alleyway on Tuesday night (February 20).

Detectives are investigating the incident, which happened in an alleyway leading to the High Street near North Row at around 10.30pm.

They are now tracing a man described as middle eastern in appearance, around 6ft tall and of a muscular build. He has stubble and short dark spiky hair and was wearing combat-style trousers and a grey jacket.

Detective Sergeant Toni Nugent said: “This is an extremely concerning incident and it’s vital that we hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time and may have witnessed someone acting suspiciously.

“We would also like to hear from anyone who may have been driving in the area and may have dash cam footage that could potentially help our investigation.”
