“What a night!”: Hundreds line the streets for 2024 Wincanton Carnival

HUNDREDS of people lined the streets to greet the Wincanton Carnival procession.

Town streets were lit up in multi-colour during the volunteer-run event, on Friday (October 11).

A spokesperson said after the event: “What a night. Thank you to all entrants, trade vehicles, collectors, marshalls and many more.

“(We) hope you loved it as much as us.”

Among those collecting were members of Blackmore Vale Rotary.

“Great atmosphere at Wincanton Carnival; lots more people than last year and lots more money collected,” a spokesperson said.
