POLICE executing warrants at addresses in Poundbury have arrested two men after discovering Class A drugs.
Officers found a substantial amount of suspected Class A drugs – described as brown powder – at the first address as well as cannabis and cash.
A 25-year-old local male was arrested on suspicion of drugs supply and money laundering. He was taken into police custody.
Police attended a second address where, following a search, a 41-year-old local male was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs and for Recall to Prison.

The operation involved officers from the neighbourhood policing team, alongside colleagues from the Force Support Group.
A spokesperson said: “We fully recognise the impact that the supply of illegal drugs has on our communities, and we remain committed to taking action to keep our county safe from their dangers.”
