PEOPLE looking to give back to their community are being invited to see how they can help at an upcoming volunteer fair in Wincanton.

The event is being held at the Balsam Centre from 10.30am to 12.30pm this Saturday (October 18).

It has been organised by the Blackmore Vale Rotary Club.

A spokesperson said local organisations will showcase the work they do and explain how people can get involved.

“Whether you’re curious about volunteering for the first time or looking for new opportunities, this is the perfect chance to meet face-to-face, ask questions, and discover how you can make a real difference.

“Tea and coffee will be provided by the Blackmore Vale Rotary Club and The Balsam Centre. No speeches, no formalities – just conversations, connections, and community.”
