VANDALS went on the rampage in a Dorset street – damaging a number of vehicles.
Dorset Police is appealing for information after receiving four reports of vehicles being targeted as they travelled in Church Hill, Piddlehinton, on Monday evening (September 15).
Officers said the vehicles were damaged by a large rock thrown from nearby bushes.
PC Glen Caddy, of Dorchester Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “This behaviour is extremely reckless and can cause a road traffic collision to occur, resulting in potentially serious or tragic consequences.
“Thankfully, in these four incidents nobody was injured. However, one of the vehicles was hit extremely close to the passenger window, causing it to smash with a person inside.
“I am appealing to anyone who has information about who was responsible, or saw suspicious activity at the side of the road, to please come forward.
“Similarly, if you have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage, please get in touch.”
Anyone with information about the incident is being urged to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 55250137828, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
