TWO men were arrested at the weekend as part of a police investigation into ongoing vehicle crime in Dorchester.
Dorset Police say they received several reports since September of cars being broken into and items taken in Dorchester.
Two men were arrested on Saturday (November 9) as a result of ongoing enquires.
Police have issued advice for residents following the spate of vehicle crime which included making sure no valuables are left in the car and to ensure they area securely locked.

“Please continue to report your concerns to us so we can take the appropriate action and direct our patrols accordingly,” a Dorset Police spokesperson said.
“The majority of vehicles that have recently been targeted have been left insecure. Please remember to ensure vehicles are locked and all valuables are removed (including keys!).
“We understand the impact that vehicle crime has on victims and our local community. We will continue to explore all possible lines of enquiry.”
