TICKETS are on sale for this summer’s Gillingham and Shaftesbury Show.
The event returns on August and 13 and 14, with organisers promising two days of livestock parades, agricultural and countryside exhibits, equestrian events, vintage machinery and cars, charming steam engines, live bands, a funfair and more.
The main show comes after the Gillingham & Shaftesbury Spring Show was called off as organisers said it was ‘impractical’.

Show organiser, Cat Harris, said the team was planning some ‘incredible attractions’.
“Last year the racing camels were a huge hit and we will soon be revealing the exciting line-up for 2025,” she said.
“Watch this space to find out what animals may be coming to the Turnpike Showground this year.”
Tickets are on sale, costing £19 for adults for one day, while family tickets (two adults and two children) are priced at £43. Children under five go free. Two-day tickets are also available.
