POLICE have now arrested three people in connection with a reported stabbing in Sturminster Newton earlier this week.
This comes after a man reportedly sustained stab wounds at a property in Stourcastle just before 4.54pm on Tuesday (September 30).
A woman was also reportedly assaulted at the address, but did not sustain serious injuries.
The man was taken to hospital for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The force had previously arrested an 18-year-old man from Sturminster Newton on suspicion of attempted murder and a 53-year-old woman, also of Sturminster Newton, on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

The 18-year-old man is still in police custody and the 53-year-old woman has been released on police bail.
Officers have now arrested a 20-year-old Weymouth man on suspicion of attempted murder and he is currently in police custody.
