Teen, 17, suffers “life-threatening injuries” in A362 crash between Frome and Longleat roundabout

A 17-YEAR-OLD boy suffered “life-threatening injuries” in a crash last night (September 10).

The teen was driving a VW Polo when it was involved in a crash with a Mercedes E350 on the A362 at Corsley Heath – between the Longleat roundabout and Frome.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident, which happened at around 11.10pm.

“The driver of the Volkswagen, a 17-year-old boy, suffered life-threatening injuries and has been taken to hospital,” a Wiltshire Police spokesperson said.

“The driver of the Mercedes and a passenger in the Volkswagen suffered reportedly minor injuries.

“The road remains closed while enquiries are carried out.”
