Stalbridge Youth Club reopens after 2022 closure

A TOWN youth club has reopened a year after shutting its doors.

Stalbridge Youth Club is up and running on Monday evenings, between 6pm and 8pm, at The Hub.

And Katie Garland, chair of Stalbridge Town Council, said she was “delighted” it had started up once again.

“We were so keen to re-open the club and continue the many years of excellent work that had gone before,” she said.

The council has partnered with Youth Connect South West to provide the facility.

It reopened on November 6 and will run from 6pm to 8pm on Monday evenings for young people aged seven and over. Admission is £1, and the club offers snacks, music, games and more.

“We are so lucky to have senior leader, Abi, and youth leader Diana, along with the Youth Connect South West Team,” Katie added.

“They will be assisted by a wonderful team of volunteers.”
