SHERBORNE tip is closed today (December 18) due to a fallen tree.
Dorset Council said Sherborne Household Recycling Centre (HRC) is closed after the tree fell on a nearby route.
A council spokesperson said they “anticipate it will reopen tomorrow” but urged people to check online at dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/bins-recycling-and-litter/recycling-centres-and-banks/find-a-recycling-centre-or-recycling-bank for any updates.
“The nearest HRCs, which are open today, are Blandford and Shaftesbury,” they added.
