Ricky Gervais bringing new material show to Christchurch

COMEDY megastar Ricky Gervais is set to perform in Christchurch.

The creator and star of The Office, Afterlife and Extras will be testing out new material at the Regent on Monday and Tuesday, May 13 and 14.

He will bring some comedy friends with him, according to Chris Cole, house and publicity manager at the Regent.

“It’s a real honour to be selected as the only venue outside of London for Ricky Gervais’ new material show,” Chris said.

“This is one of the most high-profile acts we’ve ever welcomed to the Regent so we’re expecting tickets to sell incredibly quickly.”

Tickets for Ricky Gervais & Friends: New Material Show go on sale at 10am on Friday (May 10), costing £22.
