Quad bike – worth £5,000 – stolen in Sturminster Marshall

POLICE are appealing for information after a quad bike, tools and a jerry can of fuel were stolen in Sturminster Marshall.

The force said entry was gained to an outbuilding at an address in Church Street at around 11pm on Monday (September 11).

The red Honda quad bike is reportedly worth £5,000 and police have released an image of the vehicle in the hopes of trying to reunite it with the owner.

PC Ashlea Gale, of Dorset Police, said: “We are conducting enquiries into this burglary and are asking for witnesses or anyone with information to please come forward.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who captured any relevant CCTV or dashcam footage or witnessed any suspicious activity in the area of Church Street on the evening of Monday, September 8. Your information could assist our enquiries.

“Finally, I am issuing an image of the stolen quad bike, and I would ask anyone who has seen a vehicle matching its description being sold in suspicious circumstances, either online or in person, to please get in touch with us.”
