PARTS of Dorset including Blandford Forum and surrounding areas were affected by intermittent power cuts yesterday.

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) has confirmed that the issue has now been resolved.

The company said its teams were on site using specialist equipment to investigate low voltage and intermittent supply issues, and thanked residents for their patience while the problem was addressed.

SSEN apologised for the inconvenience caused and urged customers to get in touch if problems persist.
