Police have issued CCTV images of a woman they would like to trace in connection with a series of distraction thefts in Shaftesbury.
The images have been released after a number of incidents in which elderly people have been targeted by women asking for charity donations – which police say are bogus.

“Please be aware they visit market towns when they are busy and will hover around banks,” said a spokesperson for the North Dorset Police team.
If anyone can identify the person pictured, or sees them, they are advised to call 999, and quote reference 55220155483.
