Police CCTV appeal after assault in Bridport

POLICE have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to trace in connection with an assault in Bridport.

The incident happened at around 1.30am on Tuesday, July 2, outside No 10 Café bar in East Street.

The victim – a man in his 20s – was assaulted by a man causing minor injuries.

PC Lee Jones, of West Dorset police, said: “Our enquiries are continuing into the incident and I am now in a position to issue an image of a man I would like to identify.

“I am appealing for anyone with information about his identity to please come forward.”
