New electric vehicle charging hub opens at TEALS farm shop

A NEW electric vehicle (EV) charging hub with ten dual charging bays has opened at the Teals farm shop on the A303.

The new GRIDSERVE ‘electric retail hub’ will serve shoppers, the local community and those travelling on the scenic routes through Somerset.

The hub has 10 charging bays served by five charging medium power (up to 180kW) units. To make it as easy as possible for customers to charge their EV’s, the hub has both CCS and CHAdeMO connectors, accepts contactless payment and provides real-time status updates to a myriad of popular EV charging maps.
