FLOODING in Blandford is continuing to cause disruption to bus services with Damory confirming several more routes remain unable to enter the town centre.
As reported, the bus operator said its services are still unable to access Blandford town centre via East Street, with a number of diversions and curtailed routes now in place.
On the number 20 service, buses will not be able to serve Fairfield Road or Blandford Market Place, with the service terminating after the King’s Road stop.
For the CR7 service, after Jubilee Way in Blandford, buses will divert via Whitecliff Mill Hill, travelling around the bypass to Tesco.
The same diversion applies to both the CR8 and CR9 services, although on the CR9 route buses will turn left after the Castleman House stop, rather than right, before continuing around to Tesco.
Fairfield Road will not be served on this route.
Meanwhile, the X8 service will turn left at the bottom of St Leonard’s Avenue and continue around to Tesco via the bypass.
Damory has advised passengers to plan their journeys carefully and be aware of the temporary changes while flooding affects parts of the town.
