Man freed from vehicle after crash near South Cadbury

FIREFIGHTERS freed a man from a vehicle after a crash between South Cadbury and Sutton Montis.

The incident happened at around 8.20pm on Wednesday night (November 23).

Fire crews from Yeovil, Castle Cary and Wincanton were sent to the scene.

“Upon arrival the incident commander confirmed there was one male trapped inside the vehicle,” a Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.

“Crews worked using rescue equipment to create space to allow ambulance to assess the casualty, and when it was considered safe, crews removed him from the vehicle and passed him over to the care of ambulance crews.”
