A MAN has been charged following a break in at a shop in Shaftesbury last month.
Dorset Police said the Central convenience store in Longmead was broken into sometime between 12.18am and 1.37am on October 26.
The force said significant damage was caused to the building during the break in, with the total cost of the stolen items and the reported damage thought to be £11,000.

A police spokesperson said: “Following enquiries by the Investigation Resolution Centre, a 40-year-old local man was identified and subsequently located by officers in a vehicle on Wednesday (November 5).
“After further work by the volume crime team, he has been charged with burglary and driving offences and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (November 6).”
