UPDATE: A missing Gillingham teenager has been found ‘safe and well’, according to Dorset Police.
The 14-year-old was reported missing from an address in the town at around 8.18am this morning (November 21).
Now, police said he had been located and thanked those who responded to their appeal.
TEENAGER Lewis Hill has gone missing from Gillingham.
Police are trying to trace the 14-year-old, who was reported missing at 8.18am this morning (November 21), having been believed to have left an address in the town during the night.
Lewis is described as being of slim build with mousey brown hair that is curly on the top and short on the sides. He was wearing a black Trapstar coat and black trousers.
It is believed he may be travelling in a black Vauxhall Corsa with the registration KE72 ZPK.
Inspector Gareth Bishop, of Dorset Police, said: “We are concerned for Lewis’ welfare and we are keen to locate him as soon as possible so we can make sure that he is all right.
“I would urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to please report it to us immediately. We are also keen to hear from anyone who comes across the vehicle detailed above.
“Finally, I would like to make a direct plea to Lewis if you see this to please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are. We all just want to check that you are OK.”
