Firefighters free child with fingers trapped in door hinges in Shaftesbury

FIREFIGHTERS was called to free a child who got their fingers trapped in the hinges of a door.

A crew from Shaftesbury Fire Station was sent to a property in the town after a call at around 10.23am on Sunday (December 3).

A Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Shaftesbury Fire Station were mobilised to a property in the town where a child had trapped their fingers in the hinges of a door.

“Crews used small tools to release the child from the hinges.”
