A PROPERTY linked to ongoing crime and anti-social behaviour in Blandford Forum has been secured following the execution of a warrant this morning.
Officers from Blandford’s Neighbourhood Policing Team assisted housing provider SNG at an address on Damory Court Street where the occupant and their associates were evicted, bringing the case to a close.
The action follows around 12 months of joint work between Dorset Police and SNG, after persistent problems at the property had blighted the community.
During that time, police obtained a closure order due to repeated incidents of crime, disorder and anti-social behaviour.
Police thanked residents for their patience and support throughout what they described as a protracted process, saying community reports were vital in helping build the evidence needed to act.

SNG’s regional director for localities (south) Helen Hann said the eviction highlighted the strength of partnership working.
She added: “We’re pleased that our successful partnership with Dorset Police has enabled us to take action to secure this property.
“Our priority is to ensure customers can live safely in their communities, free from crime and anti-social behaviour. We will not hesitate to act against individuals who commit offences and cause distress to their neighbours.”
Dorset Police said the outcome demonstrates their ongoing commitment to tackling behaviour that causes harm to communities and improving quality of life for residents across the town.
