Have you got a rickety old shed at the bottom of the garden?
Well, now might be the time to check it, as one incident near Dorchester showed what can happen when the winds pick up.
Firefighters were sent to a property near the town at around 5.45pm on Friday evening (September 30) after reports a barn had been damaged in high winds.
A spokesperson from Dorchester Fire Station said the structure had ‘blown over and was caught in power lines’.
“Once in attendance, the crew made the scene safe and handed the incident over to the police,” they added.
It is understood no one was hurt in the incident.
