A STOLEN spaniel is finally on her way home after officers uncovered her hundreds of miles from where she was taken.

Police confirmed that Honey was recovered yesterday during a visit in West Dorset by officers from the rural crime team, working alongside the RSPCA.

In a statement, officers said: “Today officers from the team, in conjunction with the RSPCA, have conducted a visit in West Dorset. Upon conducting a check on Honey the spaniel we were able to ascertain she was stolen from Kent in December 2025.

“Here she is on her way back to the station before being handed back to some very happy owners (we will share a video of the reunion in due course).

“A number of firearms have also been seized following further offences being identified and one person is currently in custody assisting with our enquiries.”
