Crash on A30 Yeovil Road near Sherborne leaves person injured

A PERSON was treated by paramedics after a crash on the A30 between Yeovil and Sherborne this morning.

The incident happened at around 7.30am, involving two vehicles, on the Yeovil Road near Sherborne.

A spokesperson for the Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was initially reported people were trapped in the wreckage.

“On arrival, all persons were out of the vehicles and one casualty in care of the ambulance service,” they added.

“Crews made scene safe and managed traffic control until police arrival.”
