A NEW pricing structure for Shaftesbury Lido has been agreed to keep swimming affordable while supporting the long-term running of the pool.
The biggest change is that all children under 11 will now pay just £2.50, extending the previous under-3s rate and making regular family visits more affordable.
Mayor Cllr Virginia Edwyn-Jones said the change is aimed at supporting families and increasing access to the outdoor pool.
Some prices will increase, including adult swims at £6.50, but the Loyalty Pass offers 12 swims for the price of ten, giving pass holders two free swims.
A full list of prices, including pool hire and loyalty passes, will be available on the Lido section of the council website.
Shaftesbury Town Council agreed the pricing changes at a full council meeting last month.
The council says it looks forward to welcoming families back to the Lido this year.
