Closure order for Blandford property that caused “considerable” issue for neighbours

POLICE have been granted a premises closure for a property in Blandford, meaning no one will be able to enter the address for the next three months.

This order was granted in response to “considerable anti-social behaviour” that had plagued neighbours on Damory Court Street.

Dorset Police is encouraging people to report any incidents of people entering the address other than those stated on the order.

A spokesperson said: “Blandford neighbourhood team were granted a premises closure on Damory Court Street.

“This is now live and will be for the next three months.

“This is a powerful tool for police to use when tackling antisocial behaviour and crime and disorder and regular patrols and checks will be made to ensure it is being adhered to by the occupant of the premises.

“This address has caused considerable anti-social behaviour for the locality in Blandford.

“Please report any ASB or entry into this address other than those stated on the order and the neighbourhood team will enforce accordingly.”
