CASH and tools were among a number of items stolen during a burglary at a home in Wareham in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The break-in happened between 1.30am and 2.30am at a residential property in North Street.
Entry was gained to the address and several items were taken from inside, including electrical equipment.
PC Connor Lombardo, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out a number of enquiries into this burglary and I am keen to hear from anyone with information that might assist our investigation.
“We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area of North Street, Mill Lane, Cow Lane and Shatters Hill around the relevant time period, as well as anyone who may have captured relevant footage on home CCTV systems, doorbell cameras or dashcams.”
Officers are appealing to residents in the surrounding streets to check any security or dashcam footage that may help identify those responsible.
