Car rolls onto its roof near Sturminster Newton with two taken to hospital

TWO people have been taken to hospital after a car rolled onto its roof while been driven in North Dorset.

A grey Nissan Qashqui was reportedly being driven in Marnhull Road in Hinton St Mary just before 8.30pm on August 23 when it left the road and rolled onto its roof.

The fire service and police attended the scene and two men in their 30s were subsequently taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries.

Police are now appealing for any information or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch to help their investigation.

PC Elaine Green, of Blandford Police, said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to police.

“Also, I would appeal to any witnesses or anyone who captured relevant dashcam footage from the moments leading up to the incident to please come forward.”
