BMW stolen after burglars take keys following garage break-in

A BMW was stolen from a garage in Blandford after burglars broke in and took the keys.

The incident unfolded at around 1am on Saturday, November 15, when four people gained entry to an MOT garage at the Sunrise Business Park, in Higher Shaftesbury Road.

Police said a set of car keys was stolen from the site and used to steal a BMW that was parked there.

The stolen vehicle was subsequently located in the area of West Lane in Shaftesbury.

PC George Nash, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this burglary and I would urge any witnesses or anyone with relevant information to please contact us.

“We would like to hear from anyone who saw a silver Honda CR-V travelling in the area, or any other suspicious activity, during the early hours of Saturday, November 15, as well as anyone who may have captured relevant CCTV or dashcam footage.”
