Blandford bathed in purple to mark World Pancreatic Cancer Day

BLANDFORD was bathed in purple this week to mark a special health awareness day.

The Town Hall was lit up on Thursday (November 16) to mark World Pancreatic Cancer Day.

“The Town Hall façade is lit purple this evening, on World Pancreatic Cancer Day, to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of pancreatic cancer and put a spotlight on the disease,” a Blandford Forum Town Council spokesperson said.
