A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash near Horton.
The incident happened on the B3078 Cranborne Road at just after 3.40pm on Monday (October 3).
It involved a grey Vauxhall Vivaro van and a black BMW motorbike.
The rider of the motorcycle – a man in his 30s and from Bournemouth – was taken to hospital after suffering ‘serious injuries’. The driver of the van was uninjured.
Now, police officers investigating the crash are appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident, or have dashcam footage of it, to come forward.
Officers attended with the ambulance and fire services and the road was closed until around 7.30pm.
PC Adam Carr, of the Dorset Police traffic unit, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was travelling in the area and witnessed the incident, or the moments leading up to it, to please come forward.
“I would also urge any motorists who have relevant dashcam footage that may help my enquiries to please come forward.
“Finally, I am keen to thank the public for their patience and understanding while the road closures were in place. These were absolutely necessary to allow us to treat the injured person.”
