POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an air weapon was fired at a property in Shaftesbury causing damage.
Officers were called at 1.37am on Monday (December 22) to reports that offenders had fired the weapon at an address in Deansleigh Park, damaging several windows. No injuries were reported.
PC Clark of North Dorset Police said: “Officers responded to this incident in the early hours of the morning and spoke to the victims and a number of nearby residents.
“I would ask anyone who either witnessed or heard anything of note and have not yet spoken to officers to please get in touch. I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on home CCTV cameras or dashcam to please come forward.”
