RESIDENT doctors in Dorset were recognised for their contribution to the health of the community at a special awards ceremony.
On June 24, the Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust held its 2026 Resident Doctor Awards at the Education Centre Lecture Theatre.
It was the second time the awards have been held at Dorset County Hospital, organised by the local British Medical Association (BMA) team in conjunction with the trust’s education and medical staffing teams.
“It was a wonderful occasion, with the nomination citations a reminder of the enormous difference our resident and locally employed doctors make to patients and colleagues,” a trust spokesperson said.
“Congratulations to our worthy winners and runners-up, and thank you to all our resident and locally employed doctors for the incredible work you do every day.”
The 2026 Resident Doctor Awards winners and runners-up were:
